4. Reinforcement with load: It is used when the stress of components (or connections) is less than 80% of the design strength of steel, or when the components are not seriously damaged (broken, deformed, warped, etc.). At this time, in order to make the newly reinforced bar participate in the stress, it is sometimes necessary to take temporary unloading measures for the reinforced bar. In addition, attention should be paid to not affecting the normal use of other components during reinforcement.

5. Cross-section reinforcement method: locally or along the whole length of the member, steel is used to reinforce it, and it is connected into a whole to make it bear the force together.

6. Unloading and reinforcement: it is suitable for steel structure engineering with great damage or high stress state of components and connections, and it is necessary to temporarily reduce its load. For some structures that mainly bear movable loads (such as crane beams, etc.), their movable loads can be limited, which is equivalent to most unloading.
